Description
After the winter snows melt or after weeks of rainfall, Whatcom Creek in Bellingham, Washington is high and rushing past woods, rocks and wild blackberry bushes on its way to empty into Bellingham Bay. There are three waterfalls along its way, too!
On the Bank of Whatcom Creek is one of five works included in my Whatcom Creek series.

Stunning image Cheryl, the soft flow of the water contrasting the texture of the bramble is beautiful. Wonderful processing.....captivating artwork. l.f.tweet.

Tremendous focus! Flowing along into Springtime .... I love the rushing, satiny water here, Cheryl; I can hear it ... I can feel the spray .. {it is a bit cool} :))
Cheryl Rose replied:
Thank you, Connie! This was a fun view to see and capture! Glad you enjoyed, heard the water and felt the spray! It was chilly.

Beautiful, Cheryl. I like the juxtaposition of the smooth and swiftly moving creek and the tangle of vegetation of either side. f/l

Thank you, Ann! You put words to what I like about this little view, too! Add the sounds of the creek and it was a perfect moment! Glad you like!
