Exodus is the full painting in vertical format. I have posted a cropped version in horizontal format, "Crossing the Red Sea."
God told Moses to say to Pharaoh, "Let my people go!" When Pharaoh finally agreed to free the Israelites, God led them to the edge of the Red Sea. God told Moses to raise his staff and stretch his arm over the water, so the Israelites could go through the sea on dry ground. All night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind. The waters were divided and the Israelites went through the sea, with a wall of water on the right and the left. Pharaoh's plan was to pursue the Israelites, but God closed the waters and the Israelites went on to Sinai where Moses would receive the Ten Commandments. Exodus 14:19-22
